CURWENSVILLE – Central Pennsylvania Community Action Inc. needs a new home for its Curwensville Food Pantry.
Currently, the Curwensville Food Pantry is located in the former Wilkinson Subaru building in Curwensville. However, the space may soon be sold, and the CPCA needs to vacate that location by the end of September.
The Curwensville Food Pantry is currently open the third Wednesday of each month and provides food to hundreds of residents in need of nutrition.
The CPCA is seeking a location, preferably in Curwensville, to relocate its freezers, refrigerators, and food stock. This location would also serve as a distribution center at least one day per month.
The CPCA is grateful to the Wilkinson family for allowing the Curwensville Food Pantry to operate out of its current location, rent-free, for the past 10 years.
If anyone has a location the CPCA could use for the Curwensville Food Pantry, please contact Deanna Graham, CPCA Family Services Program Manager, at 814-765-1551, extension 1107; or via e-mail at DGraham@CPCAA.net.
