State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident that occurred Feb. 20 in which an Osceola Mills woman received 212 boxes of Girl Scout cookies and allegedly failed to return the required payment. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about a Protection from Abuse order violation that occurred Aug. 30 at a South Mountain Road residence in Taylor Township. During the incident, a Fairview woman allegedly violated the victim’s active PFA by contacting her through social media. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft by unlawful taking that occurred Sept. 2 on North Fifth Street in Philipsburg Borough. Upon arrival to the scene, state police found someone had allegedly removed the victim’s prescription medication. State police are continuing their investigation of the incident at this time.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred sometime Aug. 19-21 on Route 310 in McCalmont Township. During the incident, a known female allegedly stole the victim’s prescription medication.
- State police received a report about an incident of scattering rubbish that occurred sometime Aug. 22-24 on Sandy Ridge Road in Bell Township. During the incident, someone allegedly deposited garbage onto the victim’s property. Identifying information was found within the garbage, state police said. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft from a motor vehicle that occurred Sept. 2-3 on Albion Road in Bell Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a black/brown zippered Ruger gun bag containing the victim’s Ruger LCP .380 pistol, two LED flashlights miscellaneous change, S&T checkbook, bills and uncashed paychecks. State police are continuing their investigation at this time, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Punxsutawney barracks at 814-938-0510.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a disorderly child at the elementary school.
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 879 near Industrial Park Road. There were two reported injuries, and both vehicles were towed from the scene, police said.
- Police conducted a warrant service at Lawrence Park Village.
- Police received a report about a bad check.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident with confinement on Good Street.
- Police assisted another department with a mental health-related incident.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications.
Decatur Township
- Police arrested a female for allegedly driving under the influence and other charges. She was observed driving with an open container and was intoxicated, police said.
- Police responded to a Houtzdale residence to check the welfare of a male. He was found to be OK.
- Police located a suspicious vehicle and discovered the driver was allegedly in possession of narcotics and various amounts of other drug paraphernalia. He was arrested by police.
