State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred sometime between July 1 and Saturday on Pruner Street in Osceola Mills. - State police investigated an incident of DUI that occurred Saturday on the Chestnut Grove Highway in Penn Township. During the incident, troopers stopped a Grampian woman for a traffic violation, and she was allegedly determined to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges are currently pending blood test results, state police said.
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred Sunday on the Troy-Hawk Run Highway in Morris Township. During the incident, a teenage male allegedly entered the victim’s property but didn’t take anything. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an incident of theft from a motor vehicle that occurred Saturday on Fuller Avenue in Falls Creek. During the incident, a male and female allegedly removed items from the victim’s car. The male and the victim also engaged in a physical struggle, and he should have visible injuries to his face, state police said. State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of theft, fraud and forgery that occurred Saturday in the area of Seventh Street in Philipsburg Borough. Further, the victim told state police that she’d found one of her personal checks had been stolen and passed without her knowledge at a local grocery store. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between Aug. 10 and Saturday on the Tyrone Pike in Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a large sum of cash from the victim’s property. A forensic services unit processed the scene, and anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of reckless endangering that occurred Friday on Route 310 in McCalmont Township. The victims told state police that a male who was driving a small, light brown pick-up truck was firing shots from a pistol. He was also described as driving aggressively behind them. State police at Ridgway
- State police investigated an incident of DUI that occurred Saturday at the intersection of Route 948 and Oknefski Road in Ridgway Township. Further, troopers stopped a vehicle driven by a Ridgway man and determined that he was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently taken to the Penn Highlands Elk Hospital for a blood draw; charges are currently pending at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between Aug. 14 and Friday on Cenni Lane in Horton Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s residence through an unsecured door and removed a safe. - State police conducted a DUI checkpoint Friday on Route 948 in Fox Township. Troopers stopped 64 vehicles and allegedly determined two drivers were under the influence. State police also reported nine vehicle code violations and 21 warnings.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred Sunday on Route 3002 in Millstone Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s property and removed two pumpkins, valued at $15 each. - Police received a report about a suspicious person inside of a vehicle at the Economy Inn. Upon arrival police located a Sykesville man who was allegedly in possession of a handgun. Upon further investigation, police determined he was on probation in Jefferson County and previously convicted of a felony and not to possess a firearm. Charges were filed against the man who was to be arraigned before the on-call district judge, police said.
