State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about theft of services Friday on Lingle Street in Osceola Mills Borough. Further, someone allegedly put six television sets in the victim’s dumpster without permission. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about an incident of public drunkenness that occurred Saturday on Walnut Street in Coalport Borough. During the incident, a Coalport woman was allegedly highly intoxicated in a public place. She was charged with the incident as a result, state police said in the report.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Friday at Butch’s 101 Pit Stop in Curwensville Borough. During the incident, a Houtzdale man was asked to leave the establishment due to his behavior, and he allegedly became upset and threatened physical harm to the victim. Charges are currently pending through the district court, state police said.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Friday along Curtin Street in Osceola Mills Borough. During the incident, three unknown males allegedly knocked at the victim’s residence and then took off running and yelling threatening words. - State police investigated an alleged incident of DUI that occurred Sunday on Winburne Road in Cooper Township. Further, state police conducted a traffic stop that resulted in a male being arrested for DUI.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime Aug. 20-21 at property along Sulgar Road in Warsaw Township. During the incident, someone allegedly damaged the victim’s lawn; upon investigation it was found a motorist drove through it due to a fallen tree along Sulgar Road. State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Aug. 24 or Thursday at the intersection of Route 504 and Ammerman Road. By unknown means, someone allegedly caused damage to a road sign and a portable toilet.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft from a motor vehicle that occurred Thursday in the Weis Market parking lot in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a wallet from the victim’s vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
- State police received a report about incidents of theft from a motor vehicle that occurred Aug. 24 or Thursday in the area of Water Street in Philipsburg Borough. State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of theft by unlawful taking that occurred sometime between Aug. 21 and Aug. 24 on Brown Road in Young Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a Pennsylvania registration from a white 1991 Chevrolet G20 van. - State police received a report about an incident of theft from a motor vehicle that occurred Friday or Saturday on Walnut Street in McCalmount Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed various denominations of change from two of the victim’s vehicles. - State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred sometime Aug. 24 or Thursday on Second Street in Young Township. - State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Friday or Saturday on Main Street in Burnside Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly used a BB gun to shoot at a window at the Burnside Fire Department. - State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred sometime Thursday or Friday on Adrian Road in Young Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a roll of Copenhagen from the victim’s vehicle. - State police investigated an incident of DUI that occurred Aug. 20 on Route 36 near H&H Supply in Young Township. While conducting a checkpoint, a known male drove into it and was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. State police are continuing their investigation and charges are pending at this time.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal trespass/simple assault Friday at a Shawmut Road residence in Horton Township. During the incident, an Irvona teen, Ashlee Davis, allegedly forced her way through a locked door of the victim’s residence, and once inside she assaulted the victims by striking, shoving, biting and spitting on them. Davis was taken into custody and arraigned with bail set at $10,000 unsecured.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Thursday on Main Street in Fox Township. During the incident, someone allegedly caused damage to the victim’s property. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Ridgway at 814-776-6136.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report about a stolen bicycle on South Third Street.
- Police responded to South Fourth Street for an alleged disturbance. Upon arrival police arrested the actor and also found that she was on probation.
- Police responded to a local business for a male who was having a psychological emergency. He was transported to the Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital for treatment.
- Police responded to Merrill Street for a possible burglary incident. Upon arrival police learned the resident had returned home and found items had been moved.
- Police responded to the area of North Third Street for a report about an individual who was throwing a bottle onto the roadway.
- Police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident in the area of East Market and Second streets. There weren’t any injuries reported as a result, and both vehicles were driven from the scene, police said.
- Police received a report about the alleged unauthorized use of a credit card. It remains under investigation at this time, police said.
- Police received a report about the alleged theft of medication from a purse that was left at a local business.
- Police responded to Lower Witmer Park for two juveniles who were allegedly causing a disturbance.
- Police stopped a vehicle while it was being driven after dark without any lights on and other traffic offenses. Upon investigation police found the driver was allegedly intoxicated, and they were arrested for DUI.
- Police responded to a verbal domestic dispute on Bigler Avenue. Upon arrival to the scene, police made contact with the couple. Also, while at the scene, police had a box turned over to them containing drug paraphernalia and information on the owner.
- Police responded to the area of Bigler Avenue for a report about a small child who was walking on the roadway. Upon arrival police found the person who was to be watching the child was allegedly intoxicated. It was also found that the child had walked away and onto the roadway; a passerby had stopped to assist the child off the roadway, according to the report. As a result, the child was turned over to their legal guardian, police said.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute at Lawrence Park Village.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief in the area of Washington Avenue.
- Police received a report about damage to a vehicle that occurred while it was parked at Rural King.
- Police received a report about a lost and or missing juveniles in the area of Wal-Mart. Both juveniles were located and returned to their guardians, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of theft that occurred at the Mountain Laurel Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center.
- Police received a report about a phone scam in the area of Washington Avenue.
- Police received a report about a traffic complaint in the area of the Rockton Mountain Highway.
- Police received a report about a found bank card at the CNB Bank on Industrial Park Road.
- Police received a report about a vehicle repossession in the area of Sycamore Lane.
- Police received a report about a traffic hazard in the intersection near the Hyde light.
- Police received a report about alleged elder abuse in the area of Leonard Street.
- Police received a report about a dog locked inside of a vehicle at Lowe’s.
- Police received a report about a noise complaint in the area of Firetower Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief in the area of Riverview Road.
- Police responded to a traffic complaint in the area of Route 879 and Route 1001.
- Police checked the welfare of someone at the Edgewood Apartments.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle in the area of Airport Road.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the area of Daisy Street Extension and Woodland Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of theft that occurred in the area of Clover Hill.
Sandy Township
- On Aug. 24 the manager of the Sandy Club reported to police that a female was passed out inside a vehicle in the parking lot. Upon arrival officers found a 31-year-old Rockton woman who was apparently under the influence. An ambulance responded to take the woman to Penn Highlands, police said.
- On Aug. 24 a 67-year-old DuBois man was pulling out of the Bobbette Motel when he reached across the seat for something and drifted out into the roadway, striking a vehicle driven by a 28-year-old Hastings, Pa., man. Minor damage and no injuries were reported as a result, police said.
- Police received a report about a false alarm at Dunham’s Sporting Goods on Aug. 24.
- Police received a report about a male who was sleeping on the sidewalk outside the Pilot Travel Center on Aug. 24. However, he was gone upon police arrival to the scene.
- On Aug. 24 a truck driver reported to police that while his truck was parked in the Pilot parking lot, someone backed into it, causing minor damage.
- On Aug. 24 a 51-year-old DuBois woman reported to police that she was being harassed by an unknown man on a social media site.
- Police received a report about a man who was outside of Wal-Mart soliciting for money on Aug. 24. However, he was gone upon police arrival.
- On Aug. 24 a 56-year-old DuBois woman drove through a red light at the intersection of DuBois Avenue and Shaffer Road, hitting a vehicle driven by a 54-year-old Morrisdale man. Both vehicles received moderate damage but were driven from the scene. No injuries were reported as a result, police said.
- Police received a report about someone who was selling puppies out of the back of a tractor-trailer on Thursday. Officers could not locate the truck or the puppies.
- Police received a report about a suspicious man with long hair and a backpack who was walking along South Eighth Street. However, he was gone upon police arrival.
