CLEARFIELD – The fabric art of Geri Beers is now on exhibit at LHU Clearfield, and the public is invited to view.
Beers, a resident of Clearfield is a member of the North Shore Art Alliance of Chautauqua, NY, and the Susquehanna River Arts Center (Clearfield). She is also an active member of The Liddle Gallery in Clearfield.
Beers’ exhibit is open through Oct. 15 at the LHU Clearfield campus’ Founders’ Hall.
Beers is originally from Strattanville, which is located in Clarion County. She attended Clarion Limestone High School and Edinboro University, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Masters of Arts in Art Education.
Beers taught elementary art at Westfield Academy and Central School in Westfield, NY, beginning in September of 1992. She retired from teaching in 2015.
LHU Clearfield is proud to partner with the Susquehanna River Arts Center on various exhibits, which are always open to the public.
Different artists will be featured during the exhibits throughout the year. Founders’ Hall is open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Fridays.
