PHILIPSBURG – A Philipsburg painting studio has moved to larger location in its second year
Founded by friends, Jody Gunter and Corie Hartsock in 2015, the co-owners will move their painting party studio into the heart of downtown Philipsburg and look forward to being members of the Main Street merchants.
They will conduct business at 1 N. Front St., at the corner of Presqueisle and Front streets.
This historic location provides more visibility, foot traffic and inclusion in the Philipsburg borough events.
Making the move from 500 square feet to 3,000 square feet of studio space “marks their growth over the past 12 months in their social canvassing and crafting studio and the wonderful support they have received from Philipsburg and the surrounding communities,” says Gunter and Hartsock.
A ribbon-cutting and open house event is scheduled for Sept. 8 from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
Door prizes are available and light refreshments will be served. RSVPs are requested by e-mail at 2paintingbroads@gmail.com or 814-287-9001.
Two Painting Broads Studio hosts painting parties for all occasions, including adult parties, kid events, team-building retreats, birthday parties, bridal shower/bachelorette parties, public classes, fundraisers and more. Parties can be held in the studio or in the venue of your choice.
