Ruth V. Graham Kephart, 96, of West Decatur died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016 at Windy Hill Village, P.S.L., Philipsburg.
Born Oct. 10, 1919 at Parma, Ohio, she was a daughter of Joseph and Hazel E. (Senz) Kovats.
She was first married to Morris R. Graham Sr., who died April of 1986. She later married Gerald Kephart, who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Morris Richard Graham of West Decatur and Larry F. Graham and his wife, Shirley of Woodland and 10 grandchildren Trudy Derr and her husband, Allan, Thomas Wilsoncroft Jr. and his companion, Cindy Francisco, Brian Wilsoncroft, Nicole Hullihen and her husband, Mike, Darrin Graham and his wife, Nancy, Joseph Graham, Jerry Graham, William Graham, Larry T. Graham and his wife, Cathy and Scott Graham and his wife, Angel.
She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Mildred Weber of Walbridge, Ohio, Alice Laughry of Delaware, Ohio, Pauline Stull of Danville, Ohio and Lillian Landon of Ohio.
In addition to her parents and two husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cora E. Graham Wilsoncroft, a great-grandson, Travis Randall and two sisters, Doris Koteles and Betty Kent.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend. Her family was very special to her and she loved them all very much. No one ever crossed her path that she didn’t like.
During her life, she babysat many children and grew to love each one. She also worked at Brake Drum & Equipment for several years. She loved to travel and her favorite place to go was the beach in Florida.
She was a member of West Side Church of Christ in Clearfield. During this time, she sent cards weekly.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St., Philipsburg, with Pastor Isaiah Krause officiating. Burial will be in Mock’s Hill Cemetery, West Decatur.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
