State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Tuesday along Catty Nine Trail in Huston Township. During the incident, a Julian man allegedly smacked the victim twice through an open car window. Charges have been filed against him through the district court, state police said.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred April 10. Further, the victim told state police that he was scammed out of approximately $27,000 in a time share deal while on vacation in Costa Rica.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alarm at a local business. It was found to be accidental.
- Police conducted a warrant service on a female.
- Police were requested to respond to the Riverside Motel to check the welfare of a male with a possible psychological emergency. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK.
- Police responded to a three-vehicle accident in the area of the Wal-Mart Supercenter. No injuries and minor vehicle damage were reported as a result, police said.
- Police received a report about a phone scam in which the caller claims to be with a collections agency with JCPenney. Anyone uncertain of the legitimacy of a call is asked to contact police before providing personal or financial information.
- Police received a report about two suspicious males at a business on Route 879. However, they left the scene prior to police arrival.
