State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Aug. 13 in Wallaceton. During the incident, three people allegedly attempted to cause each other physical harm. As a result, they were cited for the incident through the district court.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Sunday on North 10th Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly threw eggs at the victim’s residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
- On Saturday state police responded to Dike Road in Rush Township for a reported discovery of marijuana and paraphernalia. Upon arrival troopers found that someone had left their drawstring bag containing several personal belongings, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred Saturday or Sunday on Route 948 in Fox Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole the Smokey the Bear sign belonging to the Fox Township Municipal Authority. State police are continuing their investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Ridgway barracks at 814-776-6136.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred sometime between Aug. 16 and Friday on the bridge along Route 219 in Horton Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a solar panel and eight Trojan T-105 6 volt batteries off a traffic light set-up for construction on the bridge. Total value of the stolen items is $1,800. State police are continuing their investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Ridgway barracks at 814-776-6136.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of trespassing on River Road. Upon arrival police found that a man had a bench warrant out of Potter County and he was taken to the county jail.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment on Leonard Street.
- Police received a traffic complaint that occurred on Daisy Street Extension.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct on Clark Street.
- Police received a report about a disorderly male who was allegedly blocking workers from Morrison Road.
- Police received a report about a male who was allegedly being disorderly at a business on River Road.
- Police received a report about an animal call on the Krebs Highway.
- Police received a report about damage that was caused to a vehicle by debris on the bypass.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred on Joseph Road.
- Police received a report about a traffic violation on the Rockton Mountain Highway.
- Police received a report about a verbal domestic dispute at the Economy Inn.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications in the area of Legion Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications at the Economy Inn.
- Police conducted a warrant service in the area of the Wolf Run Sheetz. Further, police reported a male was housed at the county jail as a result.
- Police responded to an alarm at a business along Route 879 and Interstate 80. However, police were cancelled while en route to the scene.
Sandy Township
- Police received a report about a dog that had been hit and was along the roadway Friday near Cook Road on Rockton Road. The dog was deceased and had a tag on it, according to the report. Police attempted to locate the owner, but the phone number on the tag was disconnected.
- Police received a report about a missing man Saturday. He had taken his bike from Thunderbird Road to his sister’s house in Falls Creek, but he never arrived, police said. Police searched the route, which he was to have taken, and could not locate him. He was later located and reported to be safe.
- On Sunday a 56-year-old DuBois woman was allegedly intoxicated and attempting to gain access to her ex-boyfriend’s home on San Spur Road. Police handled the situation without incident.
- Police received a report about a false alarm at Sally’s Beauty Supply on Sunday.
- Police received a report about people who were under the Sandy Bridge and throwing a stick up onto the roadway, which almost hit a car that was driving over it. Police located a group of individuals walking along the tracks who denied being the offenders. The vehicle was not damaged, according to the report, and police handled the situation without incident.
- Police received a report about a child begging for money Sunday in the Aldi’s parking lot, and her parents were sitting in their car. Officers located the parents and handled the situation without incident.
- A 19-year-old Rockton woman reported losing her chocolate Lab Sunday in the area of Wayne Road near the red barn.
- McDonald’s employees reported several individuals were being loud and getting out of their vehicles in the drive-thru Sunday. Officers responded to McDonald’s and found the vehicles parked in the lot. Upon speaking to all the individuals, police found a 24-year-old Clearfield man had several active warrants, and he was taken into custody. He was turned over to the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office.
