CLEARFIELD COUNTY – The Clearfield County Commissioners, along with the Clearfield County Department of Emergency Services and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, have lifted the burn ban for Clearfield County.
“Rainfall over the last week has reduced the potential for wildfires throughout the county,” says a press release issued by Jeremy Ruffner, 911 Coordinator.
“Small pockets of dry vegetation continue to exist, and residents are asked to use caution and obtain necessary permissions when conducting open burning.”
