State police at Clearfield
- On Friday state police received a report in reference to an incident of criminal mischief at the Oak Hill Cemetery. During the incident, someone allegedly caused damage to a bench that is made out of tombstone granite. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.

- State police reported a Williamsport teen was hospitalized in Danville after an all-terrain vehicle crash Saturday on Hoffman Drive in Karthaus Township. She was traveling north when the ATV struck a pothole and she lost control. When the ATV exited the eastern side of the roadway, it struck a bench with large, potted plants at each end. The ATV went airborne before striking the ground; the teen fell over the handlebars when the ATV collided with the bench. The teen was taken to the Danville State Hospital with moderate injuries; she wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, according to state police.
- State police received a report about an incident of public drunkenness that occurred Sunday outside of Weller’s Circle in Decatur Township. During the incident, a Cloquet, Minn., man was allegedly highly intoxicated and causing a disturbance. He was subsequently lodged in county jail on a detainer, and charges were filed through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Saturday on Callahan Road in Morris Township. During the incident, a Morrisdale man allegedly engaged in a verbal altercation with the victim that escalated to him punching her and throwing her to the ground. Charges were filed through the district court, state police said.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred Thursday or Friday at Jewell’s Auto Repair in Winslow Township. During the incident, someone allegedly used a pull-behind device and stole a vehicle out of the lot. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle that occurred Friday on the Tyrone Pike in Rush Township. During the incident, a Philipsburg man allegedly took the victim’s vehicle after being told not to. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of identity theft that occurred sometime between July 18 and Aug. 10 on Paradise Lane in Huston Township. Further, the victim told state police that her identity was compromised when a check was made out in her name at a Wal-Mart in Ohio.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of simple assault that occurred Thursday on Water Street in Corsica Borough. During the incident, a Corsica man got into a verbal altercation that turned physical with the victim. He allegedly punched the victim in her teeth, causing them to become loose. The victim also had other visible injuries, according to state police. State police arrested the man for simple assault and harassment, and he was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about two suspicious persons who were panhandling and causing a traffic hazard at the Wal-Mart intersection on Route 879. However, they departed from the scene while police were en route.
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident Friday at the Wal-Mart Supercenter. No injuries or towing were reported as a result, police said.
- Police received a report about a stolen motorcycle from a Log Cabin Road residence. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a model 1976 Honda motorcycle that was described as being reddish-orange in color. Anyone with information is asked to contact township police.
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Plaza Drive in front of Save A Lot on Friday. No injuries or towing were reported as a result, police said.
- Police conducted a warrant service in the area of Bigler Avenue. Further, police took a male into custody and put him in the county jail.
- Police were dispatched for a report about an alleged domestic disturbance in the area of East 19th Police took a male into custody and put him in the county jail on a citation filed for disorderly conduct.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of theft that occurred in the area of Leonard Street.
- Police conducted a warrant service in the area of West Front Street. Police took a male into custody and to the Clearfield Borough police station due to the warrant.
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Race Street.
- Police responded to an activated alarm at Kwik Fill on South Second Street. It was found to be accidental.
- Police responded to a possible trespass incident in the area of Mill Road.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle on Whiskey Hill. It was found to be disabled, police said.

- Police received two reports about alleged incidents of retail theft at the Wal-Mart Supercenter. Charges are to be filed on two, different females, police said.

Sandy Township
- On Friday police investigated a report about a hunting camp on Beers Road that was broken into. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a large number of items. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- On Friday a 40-year-old Denton Avenue resident reported to police that he and his wife have been receiving harassing text messages from a known Scribner Avenue woman. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- Police responded to a Mount Run Road residence for an alleged assault in progress Friday. According to the report, the 62-year-old man and 49-year-old man had separated prior to police arrival. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- On Friday a 52-year-old Treasure Lake man reported to police that a known 57-year-old DuBois man had been harassing him at his camp in Cayman Landing. He told police that the man had come to his camp to fight him and threw a punch at him. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- A 39-year-old Houtzdale woman reported she hit a deer while traveling on Rockton Road on Saturday. No injuries were reported as a result; moderate damage was reported to the vehicle, police said.
- Police responded to an ATV/UTV accident off of Rockton Road on Saturday. Further, a 48-year-old Grampian man was driving a Polaris RZR 800 when it flipped; after rolling, it came to a rest on the driver’s side, trapping him inside. A 25-year-old passenger was able to extract himself from the vehicle and had a cut on his head; the driver was extricated from the vehicle and he was flown to Altoona Hospital, police said in the report.
- While on patrol Sunday, police discovered a cabin on Fire Tower Road that had been burglarized. Upon further investigation, officers discovered a possible point of entry. Then, upon clearing the camp, it appeared there were items taken. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- On Sunday a 33-year-old DuBois man was traveling on the Rich Highway when he attempted to slow for traffic. However, his vehicle hydroplaned and slid off the roadway into a ditch. Minor damage and no injuries were reported as a result, police said.
- An employee of Frito Lay reported a man who was taking product from the dumpsters at the plant on Sunday.
