The “Fast and Furious” cast is like family and we all know families can have their issues.
At least that appears to be the message Dwayne Johnson wants to get out there.
Days after slamming unnamed male cast members from “Fast 8,” The Rock posted a video from the final day of filming on Instagram and said in the caption: “Family is gonna have differences of opinion and fundamental core beliefs.”
“You guys reading this know how much I believe in the idea of TEAM EFFORT,” he wrote. “That means respecting every person, their time and their value when they step on to my set or partner with our production company.”
On Tuesday, Johnson posted a photo with a caption complaining about some of his male costars.
“Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t,” Johnson wrote. “The ones that don’t are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses.”
It left fans wondering who the action star was talking about and what had precipitated his words.
But Wednesday, he appeared to be willing to mend fences, pointing out that conflict is normal in a family.
“To me, conflict can be a good thing, when its followed by great resolution,” his caption said. “I was raised on healthy conflict and welcome it. And like any family, we get better from it.”
Johnson ended by saying the “Fast” family is all on the same page about one thing.
“At the end of the day me and #F8 co-stars all agree on the most important thing: Delivering an incredible movie to the world,” he said.
