Marian A. Lewis, 88, of Hyde died Monday, Aug. 8, 2016 at UPMC Altoona Regional Hospital.
Born Jan. 6, 1928 in LaJose, she was the daughter of James C. and Henrietta (Bouch) Hutton.
Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker and a member of the Parsonville Assembly of God.
On Oct. 8, 1945 in Clearfield, she wed David W. “Bud” Lewis, who survives along with six children, Carolyn L. Lender and her husband, Darold of Osceola Mills, Kerry W. Lewis and his wife, Christine, Janet L. Osborn and her husband, Mark, Patricia J. Prisk and her husband, Kenneth and Betsy L. Kester and her husband, Ralph, all of Curwensville, and David L. Lewis and his wife, Joanne of West Decatur.
Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and a sister, Pansy Termin of Curwensville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Kevin Osborn; five brothers, Joseph, Delmont, Eugene, Floyd and Carlton Hutton; a sister, Eleanor George; and a daughter-in-law, Helen (Hamilton) Lewis.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lewis will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville with Pastors Ernest Simmers and George W. Solley co-officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and again from 10 a.m. Friday until services at the funeral home.
