Joseph Michael Kolivosky, 80, of Grassflat died Aug. 7, 2016 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.
Born March 16, 1936, he was the son of the late Andrew J. and Mary Humenay Kolivosky.
Surviving are two sisters, Anna Rudella of Winburne and Mary Bucha of Pittsburgh. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and many friends.
Mr. Kolivosky was a member of the Sts. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Grassflat, and the Jednota Lodge.
He was a 1954 graduate of the former Cooper Township High School. He attended and graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh.
He entered the U.S. Air Force in July of 1957 and was cited as part of Hunter’s Graphic Presentation Section for designing and drawing up diplomas for the NCO Preparatory School.
A public memorial service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Sts. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church with Father David A. Perry as celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
There will be no public visitation.
