CLEARFIELD – Steve Shilling, senior vice president of CNB Bank wealth & asset management, recently announced the promotion of Dorthy (Dolly) Turner, CTFA, to the position of wealth & asset management officer.
Turner joined CNB Bank in 2000 as a teller and since then has held the positions of head teller, supervisor and branch mentor. In 2006, she moved into the wealth & asset department and held the positions of trade desk clerk, sales assistant and administrative assistant.
In October of 2015, Turner graduated with honors from the American Bankers Association (ABA) Graduate Trust School. In May, she earned the title of Certified Trust Financial Advisor (CTFA) through the Institute of Certified Bankers.
As wealth & asset management officer, Turner administers investment management, individual retirement accounts and holds a primary focus on trusts and estate accounts.
“Dolly will be great in this new position.” Shilling stated, adding that, “Her hard work, dedication and well rounded background has led to this much deserved promotion.”
A native of Woodland, Turner was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School; she later attended the Clearfield Vocational Technical School, where she earned her diploma in clothing and design.
Since then, she has earned four diplomas from the Pennsylvania Banker’s Association/Professional Development Network (PBA/PDN), which include her general banking, bank operations, consumer lending and personal banking. She also has earned certificates in team leadership, bank teller and supervisory.
Turner is a member of the Bradford Cemetery, where she serves as secretary and of the Clearfield Woman’s Club.
