CURWENSVILLE – The Curwensville Rotary recently held a planning meeting for “Rides on the Ridge,” a car and motorcycle show to be held Aug. 27 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.
The show is an established event held for the past two years by the Community Care Group and by Ridgeview’s Activities department. This year, the Rotary Club has been asked to take the reins as event coordinator.
The past two events have been very successful and allowed the residents at Ridgeview, as well as the public, to enjoy the event in the outdoors with help from local volunteers.
The Rotary Club hopes to grow the event and provide an ongoing opportunity for local organizations by offering vendor spaces at $20 each to non-profits.
