State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of disorderly conduct that occurred July 19 on the Morrisdale-Allport Highway in Morris Township. During the incident, a known male allegedly struck the windshield on the victim’s car, which caused damage and dented the side of it. State police filed charges against him through the district court.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of rape that occurred Sunday in Sykesville. The victim told state police she was at a party and a male made inappropriate contact with her. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at DuBois 814-371-4652.
- State police reported an incident of DUI that occurred July 29 on Interstate 80 eastbound in Sandy Township. Further, a Penfield man was stopped for erratic driving and determined to allegedly be under the influence. He refused to submit to chemical testing and was lodged at the county jail. Charges are currently pending at this time, state police said.
- State police reported an incident of DUI that occurred July 16 on Route 219 in Snyder Township. Further, a teen male was suspected to be under the influence of marijuana during a traffic stop, state police said.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred July 26-27 on Sykes Street Extension in Winslow Township. During the incident, someone allegedly threw a rock at the victim’s vehicle, which caused damage to the windshield. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred July 22-23 at JM Delullo Quarry along Route 219 in Washington Township. The victim told state police that equipment was damaged, and state police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at Philipsburg
- On Wednesday state police attempted to stop a Philipsburg woman for a traffic violation at the intersection of Second and Locust streets in Philipsburg Borough. However, she allegedly sped up and fled from them. Her vehicle was brought to a halt several blocks later, at which point she exited and fled on foot. When she was caught, she resisted arrest, state police said. Upon investigation state police determined a Philipsburg man who was with her had stolen $279.28 worth of groceries and household items from Weis Market. State police lodged the woman in the Centre County Jail, and charges are currently pending against the man.
