Ritz Theater, downtown Clearfield

The theater’s lobby opens at 6:30 p.m. You can grab some popcorn, even if you cannot attend the movie showings. For movies and show times, please call 814-765-5835. Prices are $6 for adults and $4 for children (12 years and under) and senior citizens (60 years and older).
Super 322 Drive-In
July 29-31
The box office at the Super 322 Drive-In will open at 7 p.m. with the show beginning at 9 p.m. The box office accepts cash only. This week’s double feature will be Ice Age: Collision Course (PG) and Jason Bourne (PG13).

Corner Concert
Shaw Park
Elmira Hope, a rising young musical artist, will appear for the first time at the Corner Concert Series on July 29.
She will entertain the crowd with Americana folk music as well as a wide range of acoustic classics and some original tunes.
Music will start at 7 p.m. on the corner of East Market and Front streets in downtown Clearfield.
Shaw Park hosts the events every Friday night throughout the summer, and it features a different style of music every week.
Donations will be collected for Susquehanna River Arts Center. “Bring a lawn chair and join the fun,” says Steve Albert, organizer.

The annual, 10-day camp meeting and Bible conference will take place from July 22-31 and includes activities for people of all ages. Daily worship services will be held for children, youth and adults, and there will be a line-up of featured speakers. Ales and Easels
Doc G’s, DuBois
On the first Wednesday of every month, Doc G’s will host “Ales and Easels.” Guests will enjoy a fun, beginner’s course in the art of acrylic paint with local artist, Patty Smith. All supplies and materials are included, and the guests keep their work. There will be a light pub style meal and beverages, as well. The cost to participate in “Ales and Easels” is $35 and reservations are required. To make a reservation, contact Doc’s G or Patty Smith.

Summer Music Fest

You can enjoy “Clearfield Community Band” – Aug. 4, and “Sharptones” – Aug. 18. Aug. 11 and Aug. 25 are to be announced. Please bring your own chair and some bleacher seating is available for approximately 100 people. In case of inclement weather, concerts will try to be rescheduled.
