WESTOVER – The Westover Area Volunteer Fire Co. is pleased to announce that it’s been awarded a federal Assistance to Firefighters Grant.
“Our award amount is $65,239, with our share being $3,261, for a project total of 68,500,” Fire Chief Jason Sunderland. “We will be purchasing 10 Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), 10 spare cylinders, and six additional face masks.”
