Heavy rains triggered flooding and landslides in China this week, leaving at least 72 people dead, authorities said.
An additional 78 people are missing following the storms in Hebei province, the local Civil Affairs Department said.
The flooding occurred between Monday and Thursday, and affected nearly 8.6 million people, it said.
