SANDY TOWNSHIP – Sandy Township Fire Chief John Hallowell has issued a burn ban for the township until further notice.
According to him, it includes all burning, such as brush, burn barrels, camp fires, etc. “No burning will be permitted or tolerated,” he said.
As a result of the ban, Hallowell said there will not be any burning permits issued by Sandy Township.
Hallowell would like to thank township residents for their cooperation.
