Robin Williams’ memory lives on through his children. The late Oscar-winner’s daughter, Zelda Williams, 26, posted a touching tribute to her dad Thursday, on what would have been his 65th birthday.
Zelda Williams posted to Instagram a black and white pic of herself with her two brothers climbing all over their father. “Still not really sure what to do on days like today,” she wrote alongside the photo. “I know I can’t give you a present anymore, but I guess that means I’ll just have to keep giving them in your name instead.”
She went on to talk about how she was honoring her father’s legacy: “This year, I tried to help three causes you cared about in one; rescue dogs, people suffering from disabilities, and our nation’s wounded veterans, so I donated to freedomservicedogs.org.”
Williams died on August 11, 2014. The actor had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in November 2013. Shortly after his death his rep told CNN that Williams had been “battling severe depression.”
