The third night of the Republican National Convention featured speeches from former rivals of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, as well as his newly minted running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.
Here are the night’s most memorable lines:
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz
“Don’t stay home in November, stand and speak and vote your conscience,” said the Texas senator, a line met with boos.
Indiana Gov. Mike Pence
“My fellow Americans, when Donald Trump is elected president of the United States of America, the change will be yuuuge.”
Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham
“We should all — even you boys with wounded feelings and bruised egos — we love you, but you must honor your pledge to support Donald Trump now.”
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich
“Every American should be terrified at the prospect of a Hillary Clinton presidency.”
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker
“Hillary Clinton is the ultimate liberal Washington insider. If she were any more on the ‘inside’ she’d be in prison.”
Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi
“Lock her up, I love that,” she said of chants about presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
