State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred Wednesday on Gray Hollow Road in Boggs Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s residence through a window and then removed a bottle of prescription Oxycodone pills and a window screen. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred sometime between June 22 and June 29 on 53 Boulevard in Coalport Borough. During the incident, a known female allegedly took the victim’s chainsaw and is trying to sell it online. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred Monday on Elizabeth Street in Beccaria Township. During the incident, someone allegedly forced entry into the victim’s residence and removed two firearms. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Wednesday in Mineral Springs. During the incident, a male and female allegedly attempted to cause each other physical harm. Both were cited for the incident as a result, state police said.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred July 17 on Coon Run Road in Highland Township. During the incident, two juveniles allegedly broke into the victim’s camper, caused damage to its exterior and interior and stole items from it. State police are currently continuing their investigation of the incident.
Clearfield Borough
- Police were called to Bridge Street for a report about a suspicious male. However, he’d left prior to police arrival at the scene.
- Police responded to East Market Street due to a parking complaint. Upon arrival police found the vehicle owner had an active warrant through Lawrence Township police. Township police arrived and handled the warrant.
- Police responded to the Sheetz store for a male who was acting suspiciously and who wasn’t any longer wanted there. Upon arrival police made contact with the male who agreed to leave the premises.
- Police responded to East Eighth Street for two loose dogs in the area. Further, police were able to return one of the dogs to the owner.
- Police responded to Nichols Street for a possible waterline break. Upon arrival police found water coming from a local business, and they were able to stop it.
- Police were called to East Pine Street for a noise complaint. Upon arrival police found a group of people outside, and they were advised of the complaint.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a phone scam from a Glen Richey resident. During the incident, a caller told the victim that their granddaughter was in trouble and they needed to send money.
- Police were called to assist a resident with a possible waterline break on Weaver Street.
- Police received a report about a traffic hazard on Route 879 while a vehicle pulling a trailer had lost its load on the roadway.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of burglary that occurred on West Front Street. It remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a parking complaint that occurred on Washington Avenue in Hyde.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief on Flegal Road where suspects smashed the victim’s flower pot.
