Things just got really awkward during the hometown dates episode of “The Bachelorette” on Monday. Contestant Jordan Rodgers, brother of NFL star Aaron Rodgers, claims the Green Bay Packer is estranged from their family.
“Bachelorette” JoJo Fletcher did her best to try and find out what exactly caused the rift. That’s when eldest brother Luke Rodgers chimed in.
“It’s something we don’t really like to talk about a lot. It pains both of us not to have that relationship,” Rodgers said. “We miss our brother. We just are trusting that God brings things full circle. And just wish that everything would just get back to us being a family.”
“It would have been nice to share JoJo with not only my parents and my brother Luke, but also Aaron as well,” Jordan Rodgers said. “I miss my brother a lot, especially in moments like this because my family means so much.”
Aaron Rodgers’ girlfriend, actress Olivia Munn, recently acknowledged a fracture in the family telling Entertainment Tonight, “Aaron doesn’t really … I don’t think he’s really talked with his brother … It’s complicated, I’ll say that.”
The quarterback has kept quiet about the estrangement and his reps were not immediately available for comment.
