State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Saturday on trails in a wooded area near the Moshannon Valley School in Houtzdale. During the incident, someone allegedly vandalized the victim’s 2007 Kawasaki all-terrain vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- State police investigated an incident of DUI that occurred Sunday in the 100 block of Smith Street in Karthaus Township. Further, a Karthaus man was stopped for traffic violations and allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently transported to the state police barracks for breath testing. Charges are currently pending through the district court, state police said.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Saturday on Richardsville Road in Warsaw Township. During the incident, a Sigel man allegedly assaulted his girlfriend.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred July 14 on Sunnyside Hollow Road in Worth Township. During the incident, a Mill Hall man allegedly harassed the victim. State police have charged the man through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of public drunkenness that occurred Saturday in the area of Ninth and Spruce streets in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, a Philipsburg man was allegedly found urinating in the center of the street. He was lodged in the Clearfield County Jail on several outstanding warrants. Charges will be filed through the district court, state police said.
- State police reported a liquor law violation that occurred Saturday on the Philipsburg-Bigler Highway and Laurel Run Road in Boggs Township. During the incident, state police made contact with a known juvenile and allegedly detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage. He was cited through the district court for the incident, state police said.
State police at Punxsutawney
- On July 2 state police stopped a Pittsburgh woman on Route 28 at Route 949 in Clover Township. The woman was allegedly under the influence and found to be driving a stolen vehicle. Charges are currently pending through the district court, state police said.
State police at Ridgway
- State police will conduct a DUI checkpoint during the month of July within Elk County.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred between July 7 and Saturday on Laurel Mill Road in Ridgway Township. During the incident, a Ridgway man allegedly repeatedly sent text-messages to the victim. He had been advised not to contact the victim but continued to engage in conduct that didn’t serve any legitimate purpose, state police said. Charges have been filed against the man through the district court.
Clearfield Borough
- Police assisted a motorist who was out of gas.
- Police responded to West Fifth Avenue for a report bout a suspicious male.
- Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and determined that the driver was allegedly under the influence. The driver was subsequently arrested for DUI, police said.
- Police assisted the fire department with a small fire in the landscaping of a local business.
- Police received a report about drug paraphernalia being found on South Third Street.
- Police responded to East Cherry Street to check the welfare of a juvenile who was having mental health issues.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications in which a known actor has been repeatedly calling the victim. Police contacted the actor and advised him to stop his actions.
- Police received a report about a male who has been calling and leaving a message for the victim to threaten her boyfriend. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a suspicious person on South Second Street who was walking around a church with a flashlight.
- Police responded to a report about a vehicle that hit a building. Upon arrival police found that there was minor damage to both the building and the vehicle. The driver was allegedly found to be under the influence and drug paraphernalia was located in the vehicle. The driver was taken to Penn Highlands Clearfield for treatment, police said.

- Police received a report about a two-vehicle accident on Route 879.

- Police received a report about a verbal altercation among family members.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment.
- Police received a report about an alarm at an area business.
- Police received a traffic complaint that occurred in the area of Supercenter Drive.
- Police received a report about suspicious activity in the area of Kurtz Road.
- Police receive a report about an alleged incident of harassment and or disorderly conduct at the Economy Inn.
- Police received a report about a stolen vehicle that turned out to be a civil issue in the area of Bowman’s Hill Road.
- Police received a report about a loose dog on Turnpike Avenue near the Rockton Mountain Highway.
- Police conducted a public service at the Hyde Fire Hall.
- Police received a report about a lost dog in the area of Byers Street. It was later found, police said.
- Police responded to a hit-and-run involving a red Pontiac Grand Am with a black hood, which fled the scene. It remains under investigation at this time, and anyone with information is asked to call police.
- Police conducted a traffic stop on the Clearfield Bypass, which resulted in an alleged incident of DUI.

DuBois City
- Sometime overnight Friday, someone allegedly removed a game console from a residence in the 200 block of South Main Street. Police are investigating and have a suspect in the incident.
- On Friday police reported a resident received a phone call from a person who was claiming a family member had been in an accident and money needed to be sent in order for them to receive treatment. The resident realized it was a scam and contacted police.
- On Friday police reported that a man received a phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS. They advised he owed $5,800 in back taxes, and if he did not pay, they would send police to arrest him. He was given specific instructions on how to repay the money. The man contacted the DuBois City police and was advised it was a scam.
- Police were dispatched to a disturbance between two roommates in the 200 block of South Brady Street on Saturday. Both women were upset with each other, but there wasn’t any physical altercation. One woman was in the process of leaving the residence, police said, and there weren’t any arrests made as a result of the incident.
- On Sunday a city officer stopped a 2013 Chevrolet Sedan on Shaffer Avenue after he observed traffic violations. During the traffic stop, he found the driver, a 29-year-old DuBois man, to allegedly be under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested for DUI and transported to Penn Highlands DuBois for testing. Charges will be filed pending results of toxicology, police said.
- On Sunday police received a report about a man who was allegedly going through a vehicle at DuBois Logistics. Upon police arrival, the suspect was seen running toward the rear of Stoltz to the walkway. Officers lost the man in that area but were able to later determine his identity. He was taken into the police station for questioning, and charges will be filed in the incident.
- On Sunday police were called to the 1000 block of Green Glen Drive for a report about a suspicious person. The caller reported that she’d observed an unknown male walk by her bedroom window. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate anyone.
