- State police are investigating a woman’s death that occurred sometime Thursday night or Friday morning on East Main Street, Reynoldsville. There aren’t any suspicious circumstances, state police said.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Wednesday in the 200 block of Walker Street, Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly used green spray paint to vandalize the victim’s sidewalk, porch and a tree. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of retail theft that occurred Tuesday at the Vape Attic, Philipsburg. During the incident, a teenage male allegedly removed a $12.99 bottle of eJuice. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about animal cruelty that occurred July 9-10 on Walker Hollow Road, Union Township. Further, the victim found his calico cat outside of his residence in pain and took it to an animal hospital for treatment. It was found the cat had multiple BB wounds and a broken femur; it was subsequently euthanized, state police said. State police at Punxsutawney
- State police investigated a drug incident Friday on Allegheny Boulevard/Interstate 80 east off-ramp, Brookville Borough. Further, state police conducted a traffic stop and found the owner of the vehicle was allegedly in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Charges will be filed through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred June 23-24 on Shale Pit Road, McCalmont Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole three chain saws and a left blower that belonged to the victim. State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Thursday on Worral Street, Jones Township. During the incident, a male and female allegedly engaged in a physical altercation, which consisted of mutual shoving. Then, a known juvenile became involved when trying to intervene in the altercation.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report about the alleged theft of a bike from a residence on South Fourth Street.
- Police received a report from a female who was selling an item online. She received a check for it that was found to be fraudulent, police said.
- Police responded to a business on East Market Street for an alarm. Upon arrival police found that an employee had accidentally set it off.
- Police responded to South Second Street for a disturbance during which people were yelling at each other.
- Police responded to West Front Street for a loose dog. It was caught and returned to its owner.
- Police received a report about a female who was having mental health issues. She was located and transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield for treatment.
- Police responded to the area of East Sixth Street for a report of fireworks.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred on Daisy Street. Further, police found that a neighbor was believed to be making statements and also to be tampering with his vehicle.
