CLEARFIELD – Fugitive of the Week, Robert Mack, 33, of Lingle Street, Osceola Mills, has been captured, according to Clearfield County District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr.
Mack was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on July 11.
On May 27, 2015, Trooper Frederick Burns of the Pennsylvania State Police, Clearfield barracks, filed a criminal complaint in which he charged Mack with simple assault, M2, and harassment, S.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on May 26, 2015, state police received a report of an alleged assault that had occurred two days prior.
During an interview, the victim told state police that she and Mack were outside of her residence, when he struck her in the arm for an unknown reason.
The victim also said that her arm immediately began to swell up, and she subsequently learned that her arm was broken.
A preliminary hearing was held Dec. 23, 2015, at which all charges were held to court. On June 14 Mack failed to appear at Motions Court, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
According to Shaw, on July 12 Clearfield state troopers located Mack at his residence. He was taken into custody without incident. Mack was then turned over to deputies from the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office.
Shaw thanked the Pennsylvania State Police and the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance with this case.
