Robert William Fauls, 60, of DuBois and formerly of Reynoldsville died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at his home.
Born Dec. 22, 1955 in DuBois, he was the son of the late Robert G. Fauls and Evelyn J. (Thomas) Fauls. His mother survives and lives in DuBois.
He had many careers during his lifetime but excelled at sales. He loved interacting with people. His greatest passion, which permeated every part of his life, was helping others.
He loved the outdoors, whether hunting, fishing or just walking through the woods. He was an avid Steelers fan and a voracious reader.
He enjoyed sharing the abundance of knowledge that he had gathered over the years of many different topics.
He loved his family and friends and was a one-of-a-kind guy who made us all better by being in our lives. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, his fishing buddy, Thomas M. Fauls and his wife, Pam of Pittsburgh and Stephen P. Fauls of DuBois; his sister, Cynthia A. Starr and her husband, Harold of Tulsa, Okla.; his nephews, Jesse, Kyle, Todd and Collin; his nieces, Natalie, Nicole, Jocelyn and Kayla; his two aunts, Nancy Malley of Pittsburgh and Adele Fauls of Pottstown; his uncle, Jim Thomas and his wife, Fran of Export, Pa.; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his best friend and dad, Robert G. Fauls; his favorite girl and maternal grandmother, Kathryn M. Thomas; maternal grandfather, William G. Thomas; paternal grandparents, Frank and Agnes Fauls; and numerous aunts and uncles. He was also preceded in death by his furry companion of 20 years, Sammy.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Msgr. Richard Siefer officiating.
