State police at Clearfield
- State police are investigating an incident of burglary that occurred Monday at the former Girard-Goshen Elementary School. During the incident, someone allegedly made entry through a rooftop hatch, and once inside they went to the boiler room and cut numerous sections of copper tubing from the boiler and hot water tank.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime between July 9 and Monday at Thieves Market in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly damaged several 9” by 9” glass block windows on the building. Damage is estimated at $200, state police said. - State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred July 7 on Dike Road in Rush Township. During the incident, an unknown male allegedly punched the victim in the face. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief that occurred sometime July 9-10 at the Wal-Mart in Yong Township. During the incident, the Punxsutawney Spirit was deprived of $25 in quarters after someone allegedly broke into their newspaper machine. State police are continuing their investigation at this time, and anyone with information is asked to call 814-938-0510.

- Police received a report about counterfeit money that was passed at the Snappy’s Convenience Store.
- Police received a report about an abandoned vehicle in the area of Patton Street.
- Police received a report about a lost wallet at the Wal-Mart Supercenter. It is a black bi-fold with a center snap, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of theft by deception that occurred in the area of Calvary Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment in the area of the Clearfield – Curwensville Highway.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment from a resident of the Economy Inn.
- Police removed debris from Market Street Extension.
- Police received a report about careless driving on Birchfield and Summit streets.
- Police received a report about a golf cart being driven on the roadway in Country Club.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a local business. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK.
- Police received a report about a suspicious person at a business along Route 879 and Interstate 80. However, they fled prior to police arrival.
