Faye F. Watson, 92, of DuBois died Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Mrs. Watson was born Jan. 14, 1924 in Shawmut, Pa., the daughter of Philip and Mattie Lindenmuth.
She had worked at the Pershing Hotel and the Holiday Inn. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of DuBois.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, listening to country music, baking, shopping and traveling. She always had an extra plate on the table for company.
She is survived by four children, Dawn Baughman of North Carolina, Linda Marquis of Warren, Scott Watson and his wife, Lynn of Treasure Lake and Alan Watson and his wife, Sue of Jupiter, Fla., 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Watson was the last member of her generation. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Chester Watson; a great-grandson, Jacob Overdorf; four brothers, John, Ed, Charlie and Harry Lindenmuth; a sister, Mary Seyler; and two step-sisters, Lizzie and Sadie.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Mohney–Yargar Funeral Chapel Inc. of DuBois with Pastor Lance Tucker officiating. Burial will be at Beechwoods Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
