Helen S. Keel, 95, Treasure Lake, DuBois died Friday, July 1, 2016 at Christ the King Manor.
Born Dec. 5, 1920 in Wilmington, NC, she was the daughter of the late A.H. and Bessie (Williams) Schultz.
On Aug. 11, 1957, she married Thomas H. Keel. He preceded her in death on Oct. 27, 1980.
She was a self-employed beautician until 2008.
She was a faithful member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Horseheads, NY. She loved to travel. She relocated to DuBois to be with the Deibler family in 2013.
She is survived by four step-children, Mickey Moore of Yorktown, Va.; Shirley Kingsley of Elmira, NY; T. Allen Keel of San Antonio, Texas; and Kerry Keel of Daleville, Ala.; several step-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her step-son, Daniel Keel.
Friends will be received from 12 p.m. Saturday until the time of service at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Brian Deibler officiating.
Burial will be in Luthersburg Union Cemetery.
