CLEARFIELD – A Potter Baseball Team Day will take place in Clearfield on July 13 through the efforts of the Potter Baseball Traveling Team, Clearfield Baseball Association, Joseph & Shaw Public Library and a partnership with the Clearfield Revitalization Corp., (CRC).
The Potter team’s players, ages 13-15 years, will coordinate two baseball clinics at the Clearfield Little League Field from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. for grades K-2 and then from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. for grades 3-5 as part of the Shaw Public Library summer reading program.

Clearfield’s visit will be one of a 26-day tour, as baseball games in each town are complemented by community service. The tour takes them all over Pennsylvania, Ohio Virginia and Maryland.
Potter Baseball Head Coach Jeff Potter, stated, “This is a great community, and we look forward to returning to Clearfield to take on this type of project.”
“Potter Baseball reiterates everything the CRC stands for, which is bringing out the best of a community. In a setting like downtown, it is fun for the team and a value to our small town,” stated CRC’s Main Street Manager, Loretta Wagner.
Coval added that,” The theme for the Summer Reading Program is ‘on your mark, get set, read’ with a focus on health and nutrition. We are very pleased that the Potter Team Tour can be a part of this program.”
