John Clair Heemer, 86, of Philipsburg died June 28, 2016 in Philipsburg. Born March 10, 1930, he was the son of the late Clair Adam and Beverly Byron Heemer.
Surviving are his daughters, Karen Ann Corbo, Wendy Jean Willis, Nicki Joy Perrone and Jamie Lynn Hunkins and his son, John Clair Heemer.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and his sister, Carol Jean Sinclair.
He was preceded by his parents and a sister, Constance Patricia Galvin.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in the 11th Airborne Division as a paratrooper.
Funeral services are private for the family. There will be no public visitation.
