Kinley Benser, age 10, from Philipsburg Elementary School, is the 10- to 13-year-old age group winner in the “Be Kind to Animals” T-shirt design contest.
The contest was sponsored by the Animal Welfare Council/Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic of Woodland.
Benser is holding a T-shirt with her winning design.
The contest was open to all youth aged 6 to 17 years old; entries were received from students in at least four school districts.
