WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Austin J. Smith, 23, of Falls Creek was jailed following an ongoing investigation into the distribution of marijuana, according to state police at DuBois.
On Friday a search warrant was executed at Smith’s residence by a state police Special Emergency Response Team (SERT) shortly after 6 a.m.
As a result, state police allegedly located and seized several pounds of marijuana, in addition to a large sum of U.S. Currency. Smith was subsequently arraigned and lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.
