STATE COLLEGE – Centre LifeLink EMS is now able to offer free community car seat checks at its main station, located at 125 Puddintown Rd., State College.
Seat checks are performed by a nationally-certified child passenger safety technician.
Car seat checks are being offered by appointment (recommended) and drop-in. However, the staff cannot guarantee that the technician will be available if you decide to drop-in.
Please bring with you a child who is using the seat (if possible); a car seat and manual and vehicle manual.
Please allow 30 minutes to one hour, depending on vehicle and number of seats, for the inspection.
Center LifeLink will begin inspecting car seats from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. June 29.
