Luke is looking for a Big Brother

Editor’s Note: GANT News has teamed up with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program at the Clearfield County Children’s Aid Society. The goal is to help find interested community members who would like to volunteer as a big brother/sister.

My name is Luke and I am in second grade. It would be fun to play Legos video games with a big brother.

I can teach my big brother how to build with Legos. My big brother could show me how to play video games.

I would like to go to McDonald’s with a big brother. I also like to sleep, watch TV, play video games, eat, ride bikes and go swimming.

My favorite movie is Star Wars.

To be a volunteer in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, you must be 18 years or older and commit to spending at least four hours a month with a little brother/sister.

There are currently 27 children on the waiting list for a big brother or big sister.

To learn more or to sign-up to volunteer, you can call 814-765-2687, ext. 255, or go to www.bbbs.org.
