State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of access device fraud Wednesday on White Street in Irvona Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly transferred money to a bank account in Slovenia. It was transferred from a card with child support payments on it. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between Jan. 1 and April 19 on Preston Way in Falls Creek Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly entered a vacant trucking terminal and turned on the water valve, which flooded the building. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police responded to a report of a crash May 22 on the Tyrone Pike in Rush Township. Upon arrival state police determined a Tyrone man had allegedly been driving under the influence of alcohol, and he was subsequently taken into custody. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report from Children & Youth Services about an alleged incident of assault/harassment that occurred April 25-29 at a Port Matilda residence. The victim told a mandated reporter that her brother had been physically assaulting her at their residence. She also stated that he choked her after an argument during the aforementioned timeframe. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of simple assault that occurred May 22 on Black Moshannon Road in Rush Township. During the incident, a Philipsburg man allegedly assaulted his sister. He was subsequently lodged in the Centre County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Tuesday on Third Street Extension in Burnside Borough. However, the victim declined prosecution, state police said.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to the 300 block of Daisy Street for a report of a bear in the area. However, police were unable to locate the bear.
- Police were advised of a vehicle that struck a sign and left the area. Police responded and could not find any damage to the sign or the vehicle.
- Police were called to CVS Pharmacy for an incident of retail theft. During the incident, a known male allegedly entered the store and removed items without paying for them. Charges are pending on the male, police said.
- Police assisted emergency personnel with a juvenile who was feeling ill along Nichols Street.
- Police returned a phone to the owner after it was located along East Market Street.
- Police responded to a 911 hang-up call along South Second Street. However, police could not locate the source of the call.
- Police were notified of an alleged incident of harassment occurring along North Fifth Street.
- Police responded to an activated alarm and found everything to be OK.
- Police assisted a motorist along South Second Street who had locked their keys inside of their vehicle.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a child who was allegedly left unattended in a parking lot of a local business. The vehicle was gone upon police arrival to the scene; however, the incident remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about suspicious people in the Martin Street Extension area. However, they were gone upon police arrival to the scene.
- Police received information regarding a hit-and-run accident that occurred in the Daisy Street Extension area.
- Police received a report about a dog that was left unattended in a vehicle at Wal-Mart. However, the vehicle left prior to police arrival to the scene.
- Police received a report about a dog that was loose in the Kerr Addition area. Police located the owner of the dog.
- Police received information about a traffic accident that was not reported to police.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment.
- Police received a report about a runaway juvenile. However, it was found that the juvenile was missing from a different jurisdiction. Police turned the incident over to the appropriate department.
- Police responded to a report about a suspicious vehicle at a local establishment.
Curwensville Borough
- Police responded to a residential burglar alarm at a South Side residence. It was an accidental alarm, police said.
- Police received a report about unauthorized people who are putting garbage in a dumpster located at Walnut and South streets. Any violators will be cited for theft, police said.
- Police received a report about alleged drug violations.
- Police received a report about a civil matter.
- Police handled a confrontation between two females at a Beech Street apartment.
- Police received a report about a missing juvenile who was later located.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications. Police have identified the person who made the phone calls and sent text-messages.
- Police received a report about a traffic violation that occurred on Park Avenue Extension and Beech Street. Further, the operator of a dark red or maroon Chevrolet Cavalier was traveling at high speeds and in a careless manner. However, they fled the area prior to police arrival.
