The box office at the Super 322 Drive-In will open at 7 p.m. with the show beginning at 8 p.m. The box office accepts cash only. This week’s double feature will be The Angry Birds and Kung Fu Panda 3, both PG.

Elk Antler (Shed) Hunt

The second-ever Elk Antler (Shed) Hunt will be held in the Pennsylvania Elk Management area. Sheds must come from the wild elk herd and not from a game farm or preserve. Registration for the hunt is $10, and participants must be a 2016 member of the QIDC at $5. For more information, please call 814-263-4418.

Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre
Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps, a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre!
This two-time Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning treat is packed with nonstop laughs, over 150 zany characters (played by a ridiculously talented cast of 5), an on-stage plane crash, handcuffs, missing fingers and some good old-fashioned romance!

Machine Embroidery Retreat
Mahaffey Camp
The Machine Embroidery Retreat at Mahaffey is a new retreat offered for owners of computerized embroidery machines.
This retreat will give you the opportunity to do embroidery projects with your own embroidery equipment and to learn your machine’s capabilities while you make a variety of projects and have fun, too.
You will be using your own supplies for most projects and will be sent a materials list after your registration fee is received.
Project designs and some supply costs are included in the price of the retreat and those designs and materials will be provided for you when you arrive.
The cost of the retreat also includes meals and demos. You will have your own 8-foot table for work space.
The building where participants will embroider is secure 24 hours a day, so your equipment will be safe at all times. Meals are served in a separate area.
Accommodations for those participating in the retreat will be available in Dorm 5. This newly-renovated facility is located nearby the Dining Hall.
Please bring bedding for a single bed, toiletries and towels. Rooming is double occupancy. Single rooms are available upon request at an additional charge per night.

Susquehanna Antique Machinery Association
The Susquehanna Antique Machinery Association will hold its annual Spring Gas-up this Friday and Saturday, May 20-21 at the show grounds along U.S. Route 219 near Luthersburg. There will be antique and garden tractor pulls, hit and miss engines, tractor and equipment displays, chainsaw carving demonstrations, a kid’s pedal tractor pull, barrel train rides, a flea market and food, including homemade ice cream. Also, a consignment auction will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Admission and parking are free, and primitive camping space is also available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Trails of Hope
Rock Run Recreation
People are invited to ride for a cause and participate in a “Trails of Hope” event that is being held this Saturday, May 21 at Rock Run Recreation. Proceeds will support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Dine-out Day with WPAL

Luigi’s of DuBois has partnered with the WPAL for a dine-out day fundraiser. Further, 10 percent of all sales will be donated to WPAL Boxing and Fitness Center. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and Chinese auction to help raise funds for equipment maintenance and purchase.
Kid’s Carnival
Treasure Lake
A kid’s carnival will be held from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. at the Lakeview Lodge at Treasure Lake. It is open to the public, and admission is $1 per child. There will be a puppet show, food and games.
