Mary Louise “MaryLou” Redden Campbell, 89, of Grampian died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.
Born May 15, 1927 in Mahaffey, she was the daughter of Jess and Erma (Tooke) McCracken.
Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker and retired as an educational aide for the State Children’s Home in Ebensburg.
She was affiliated with the Hepburnia United Methodist Church. She was also a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and Orphans of the Storm.
She wed Carl Campbell, who preceded her in death in the late 1970’s.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jess and Clifford McCracken; and two sisters, LaRue Fulton and Dorothy “Dottie” Hall. She was the last member of her generation.
Surviving are three children, Diane Petracca and her husband, Frank of Curwensville, Kevin Edwin Redden of Clearfield and Dennis Kline Redden and his wife, Ellen of Fishers, Ind.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Campbell will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville with the Rev. Stephen Shields officiating. Burial will be in the Mahaffey Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
