State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of disorderly conduct that occurred Monday at the Moshannon Valley School softball field in Bigler Township. During the incident, a Curwensville woman was allegedly involved in a verbal altercation with the coach while the game was in action. Charges are currently pending through the district court at this time, state police said.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary/theft that occurred Wednesday on Spruce Street in Snyder Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s residence through an unlocked front door and removed two wallets containing U.S. Currency and a CNB debit card.
- On Monday state police received a report about the theft of services on Evergreen Drive in Huston Township. During the incident, a male arrived and allegedly disposed of garbage into a dumpster owned by the victim without permission. Charges were filed through the district court as a result, state police said.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to Sheetz for a report about an alleged retail theft. Police were able to view the security video and observe the theft of multiple items.
- Police responded to a local business for an alarm and determined it was set off accidentally.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications. Further, the victim told police they knew the actor, and they would not stop their actions. It was noted by police that the victim only wanted the communication to stop at this time.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment in which a male’s ex-girlfriend would not stop calling him and going to his residence. The female also entered the residence without permission, according to the report. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police stopped a vehicle for a minor traffic offense and determined that the passenger had an open alcoholic container in his possession. The passenger was cited for the incident as a result.
- Police responded to the Clearfield Riverwalk for a report about individuals who were bouncing items off the wall and building. Police did not observe any damage and spoke with the individuals about their conduct.
- Police responded to East Market Street for an alleged disturbance. Upon arrival police learned that two males had engaged into a physical altercation and one directed threats toward the other. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a suspicious male who was asking for donations in the Hyde area.
- Police received a report about a suspicious male in the area of Interstate 80.
- Police received a report about a psychological emergency in Hyde. Further, the male was transported to the emergency room for an evaluation.
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 879. One person was injured and transported to the hospital by emergency personnel, according to police. While at the scene, another accident occurred, police said, but there weren’t any injuries as a result.
- Police responded to a disorder along Industrial Park Road. It was handled at the scene.
Curwensville Borough
- Police arrested a motorist after a traffic stop for allegedly driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run crash that occurred at an unknown location.
- Police referred an individual to an attorney to handle a civil issue.
- Police assisted a resident on Walnut Street with their vehicle and an issue with security at their house.
