CENTRE COUNTY – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting drivers that as of 3 p.m., one lane of Route 322 in Centre County has been re-opened near the Philipsburg State Police Barracks.
Clean-up from an earlier tractor-trailer crash had made it necessary to close the road earlier today between Philipsburg and Port Matilda.
With one lane open, it is no longer necessary for drivers to use alternate routes, but delays are likely, with an alternating traffic pattern in effect near the crash site. The alternating pattern is being controlled by flaggers. PennDOT expects the road to be fully open in the next few hours.
