Irene M. Yeager, 85, of Philipsburg died Friday, May 13, 2016 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.
Born March 22, 1931 at Oak Grove, she was a daughter of Matthew and Suzanna (Pedmo) Kozak.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In 1954, she married Alfred L. Peters, who died in November of 1959. She later married Chester A. Yeager in 1976; he died in October of 2008.
She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Potter and her husband, David of Clearfield and Karen Greenawalt and her husband, Robert of Philipsburg.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Megan Jordan of Ocean City, Md., Derek Greenawalt and his wife, Rachel of Clarence and Krista Dixon and her husband, Larry of Philipsburg and five great-grandchildren, Amber Graham, Gavin Greenawalt, Aiden Greenawalt, McKenna Dixon and Gabriel Dixon;
She is also survived by a brother, Gerald Kozak and his wife, Celia of Metuchen, NJ and four sisters, Marcella Shadeck and her husband, James of Bradford, Mildred Straw and her husband, Richard of Post Falls, Idaho, Susan Haines of Howard and Dorothy Collar of Moshannon.
In addition to her parents and two husbands, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Billy; a sister, Evelyn Romanaski and three brothers, George, Thomas and Stephen Kozak.
At her request, a private family memorial service will be held at a later time. There will be no public visitation. Burial will be at the Bradford Cemetery.
