CLEARFIELD – Children’s Aid Society in Clearfield County will launch Real Relationships program in July.
Real Relationships, the newest program of Children’s Aid Society, offers marriage and relationship education classes and workshops to residents of Clearfield County and the eight surrounding counties.
There is something for everyone regardless of age or relationship status. There are weekly classes for individuals and couples; one-day workshops for engaged couples or couples interested in marriage; and couples retreats for married couples.
Participants will learn about communication danger signs and positive communication skills, stress management techniques, skills for handling conflict and building teamwork in a relationship to name just a few of the skills.
Meals and gas cards, in addition to other great incentives such as child care for weekly classes and overnight hotel stay for couples retreats will be provided at no cost to participants.
Free weekly classes for singles will be held Tuesdays from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. beginning July 12 at the Real Relationships office at 216 N. Third St., Clearfield.
Free weekly classes for couples will be held Thursdays from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. beginning July 14 at The Vine, Free Methodist Church at 520 Turnpike Ave., Clearfield.
One-day workshops and couples retreats will be held in State College in July, Altoona in August, and Clearfield in September.
