Dawn J. Verbitsky, 66, of Lanse died Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital.
Born Feb. 27, 1950 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of the late Melvin T. Jean E. Cathcart Curry.
Mrs. Verbitsky had attended the Clearfield County Vo-Tech. She graduated as a certified nursing assistant.
She was married to Joseph Verbitsky of Lanse who survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Amy Witherite and three sons, Shawn, Jason and Brian Witherite.
She is also survived by a brother, Tom Curry; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Witherite and a brother, Marvin Curry.
There will not be any public visitation. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
