Ralph “R.J.” Bruzga, 67, of Brookville died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in DuBois.
Born Oct. 26, 1948, he was the son of the late Ralph A. and Ann R. (Stanchus) Bruzga.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. and served during the Vietnam War.
He retired as a senior bridge inspector from Kimball Engineering.
He was a life member of Goodwill Hose Co. No. 5, the Falls Creek and Brookville Eagles and the Olympic Athletic Club.
He was a member and past president of the former Lithuanian Independence Club. He was also a member of the James J. Patterson Post 813 Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by two children, Tracy Gordon and her husband, Jeffrey, Esq. of Brookville and Michael Bruzga and his wife, Chica of Sasebo City, Japan; a sister, Carol Dunlap and her husband, Robert of DuBois; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Werner and a great-nephew, Damien Dunlap.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A private family committal service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery the next day where full military honors will be accorded by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard.
