State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Tuesday and Wednesday on Halfmoon Valley Road in Halfmoon Township. During the incident, a Port Matilda man allegedly continued to send text messages to the victim after he was previously advised by state police to have no further contact with her.
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary and theft by unlawful taking that occurred sometime between Saturday and Monday on South Eagle Valley Road in Worth Township. The victim told state police that someone entered her unlocked residence and removed $300. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Wednesday on Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg Borough. Further, the victim told state police that a Philipsburg woman had threatened to punch her in the face over a washer. The woman was cited through the district court as a result, state police said
Clearfield Borough
- Police were called to Doctors Drive for a report about a dog inside of a vehicle with the windows up. Police responded and searched the area but the vehicle was gone upon their arrival.
- Police responded to Paradise School Road as Lawrence Township police had custody of a male who held an active warrant through the police department. Police responded and were able to take care of the warrant at the scene.
- Police reported that a male was recently terminated from a job and had allegedly failed to return items to the company.
- Police assisted the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office with a female who had an active warrant out of Philadelphia.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle in the area of Elizabeth Street.
- Police responded to East Eighth Street for a male who was acting wary. Police arrived on scene and determined he had ingested narcotics; he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
- Police received a report about a theft from an East 10th Street resident. The caller then advised police that the items had been located, and they were hidden by someone.
- Police were called to the hospital for an alleged assault that had occurred in the borough. As a result of the investigation, a female was arrested on assault charges and lodged in the Clearfield County Jail on a probation violation.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an IRS scam from a township resident. During the call, someone who claimed to be with the IRS threatened a lawsuit against the resident, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications.
- Clearfield Borough police were assisted with locating a female who was wanted for her alleged involvement in an assault incident.
Curwensville Borough
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic disturbance Wednesday on Walnut Street. During the incident, a mother and daughter engaged in a verbal argument.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of fraud Wednesday and referred the caller to the appropriate agency.
- Police received a report about dogs that were running loose in the area of George Street. They were secured back into their owner’s property on Wednesday. Police would like to remind residents that animals aren’t permitted to be running loose and must be in a secured area.
- Police received a report about speeding vehicles and motorists not obeying stop signs in the area of Anderson and School streets. Police will provide extra patrols in the South Side area.
- Police received a noise complaint in the area of Anderson Street. Further, people were playing music from a vehicle late at night and into the early-morning hours. Police will provide patrols to the area to determine the source of the disturbance.
- Police are investigating an alleged assault that occurred Wednesday, which involved two Curwensville students. One student was treated at Clearfield Penn Highlands Hospital, police said.
