National Anthem tryouts going all-digital in 2016

The State College Spikes are taking auditions for 2016 National Anthem singers in a whole new direction this season. Fans who wish to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” prior to a Spikes game can participate in a digital tryout process that gives fans the chance to make their mark in their own way.. Fans who would like to join the roster of Nittany Technology National Anthem performers can now participate in a digital process that will continue throughout the year. Performers can create a video clip of themselves singing or playing “The Star-Spangled Banner,” and submit it to the Spikes via e-mail at nationalanthem@statecollegespikes.com.
