CLEARFIELD – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has re-opened the right/travel lane of eastbound Interstate 80, at the Woodland/123 exit. PennDOT re-opened the lane around 1 p.m. today.
The lane has been closed since March so that repairs could be made to the I-80 eastbound bridge spanning Route 970 at the Woodland exit. The bridge was damaged Feb. 24 after being struck by a vehicle.
During the repairs, I-80 traffic crossed the bridge using the left/passing lane. Traffic can now move through the area using both eastbound lanes.
